What is the toughest chemical I can use to unclog my sewer line?
I have already used Main Line.

- if your whole house plumbing (sewer) is backed up, I would recommend calling a plumber. I've found that chem's don't usually work
- Depending how bad the clog is you might have to get a plumber to snake it out.some roots and hairballs are really tough to clean with chemicals.
- Instead of using harsh chemicals, try using plumbing enzymes. It won't tear up your pipes like chemicals do. They are sold at home and plumbing stores. People are just not familiar with them. My plumber recommended it to me and it did a great job. The reason that most plumbers don't tell you about this is because they would then lose a lot of business.
- Pleez stay away from the chemicals and call a plumber!
- We Pour Drain O down the drain. We flush root killer down the commode. If you have grease in your sewer line, you will need a snake or plummer.
- There is a super strong drain cleaner that uses muratic acid. That is likely the strongest. *BUT* I would only use on a slow drain and never on one that is not draining at all. It must be draining some so it can be diluted down and flushed out. Using chemical on a stopped drain can splash in the eyes of somebody using a plunger later and blind them. It creates a dangerous situation for a plumber running a snake down the drain too. And it will corrode pipes and fixtures. It will stain anything that it touches in the process as well. Like damage flooring that might get wet when a plumber is working on it. If your drain is completely stopped you need a plumber, not chemicals.
