Public Comments

  1. 2 k or better
  2. A sewer system or a septic system? Either way, it will cost a couple of thousand dollars (or more), depending on how extensive and where the break is located
  3. You'll need about -2 feet of 3" the green septic PVC and two couplers one for each end. Find and cut out the break, It will be the wet spot, then clean and glue in one side of the coupler, add the new pipe cut the same length as what you removed and glue it in to both sides. Be sure to put dirt back under the new joint to support it before covering up. Beats REPLACING the whole system as suggested above.
  4. It depends on how deep the line is and how it's broken. If it can be repaired with a coupling you're probably looking at $300-600 (from a reputable plumber) but it could get higher quickly if they find other problems.
  5. If you dont mind doing the digging your self..which septic lines are not that deep..You can fix it yourself with about 35.00.....You said sewer system on your property..then You mustmean a septic system..they are not under pressure..so no water etc needs cut off..but dont let noone run the water untill you are fixed.. A hack saw and probably 2 or 3 feet of pipe, and 2 couplers..1 small can of glue and primer..very easy to do..
