How much to add a bathroom?
I am thinking about adding a bathroom in my garage which was converted into a living space. The garage is not connected to the house and the restroom in the house is clear on the other side. How does the plumber know where the sewer line is, and how much do you think it would cost for the whole project including putting up the walls for the restroom.

- The plumber will be able to give you an idea of where the line is. You may even have a septic system which might be easier in some cases to add a line too. Depending on your location in the country it could cost anywhere between 6-15 thousand dollars. With six thousand being the bare bones, plumbing electric and walls.
