Sewers

A toilet in my house is blocked (we have a sewer system)?

Is there anything I can buy to pour down and unclog the drain because plunging isn't working....

  1. just stick ur arm up there n wiggle it around
  2. yea it was something called, well i forgot but there is a comercial of it on tv
  3. try something long
  4. Best call a plumber. You could have a real mess.
  5. ask the man you live with. if there's no man or if that man doesn't know, then call a professional.
  6. Draino! A whole bottle usually does the trick.
  7. Septci Tank or sewer--Same answer. First try an old fashion plunger, then get some drain cleaner that is recommended for your sewer system, and when that fails--Time to call the plulmber.
  8. If plunging isn't working, you need to run a snake through the cleanout. If you don't have a snake, call a plumber, sorry. Chemicals don't clear anything except your wallet.
  9. It's best to call a plumber. The commercial drain cleaners may be harmful for a toilet. Good Luck.
  10. you probably will have to "snake" the line with either a shorted closet auger or perhaps a longer snake which is a tightly wrapped wire which is either turned by hand or an electric motor. liquid drain openers have little effect on bigger pipes....hope this helps
  11. Coke. It will eat the sludge off an engine.
  12. plumber 's snake.
