does sulfuric acid clog remover harm sewer pipes?

I have purchased sulfuric acid clog remover. Before I use it i would like to know if it harms the drain pipes. Also if it works good on clogs.

1. to answer both your questions yes&yes it will harm the pipes if used repeatedly,but if used occasionally it wont hurt them,and yes it works good on clogs,stinks like heck but works good
2. Eventually, yes. Use it in moderation and it should be a long time before any harm is done.
