Sewers
I understand India's sewer system is subpar. Do people still dump feces out the window in buckets there?
I'm trying to understand why there is so much typhoid and malaria, things of that nature. Is it due to poor sanitation or hygiene? I also understand trash doesn't get collected very much and it builds up and stenches.

- I don't know about out the window, but they do go outside, without the outhouse. As do many other less developed countries.
