Sewer Pumps upgrading?

Hi, Please consider the scenario below: There is a Sewage pump station having 2 pumps in the wet well and 2 dry pumps (i.e. booster pumps) in the dry well next to t. Sewer comes into wet well and gets pumped to the dry well and gets pumped again out to the main. We want to get rid of the dry well and booster pumps but instead replace the wet well pumps with larger ones to handle the same conditoin (i.e. inlet sewer) each pair of pumps in each well are 1 duty (i.e. they don't run simultenously!) I have the duty point of wet well pumps and have the detailed existing design wit me. I also have the average run time (hours/day) for each well. therefore, I have already caclculated how much water will be delivered out of wet well in L/S. Since, I don;t have the duty point of Dry Well pumps, not sure what to do next. Could you please tell me how can I go about it? Thanks ok, I've just found out that dry well pumps have the same duty point as wet well pumps. so, now how should I go about it? Thanks

  1. You have to figure the required TDH. Any pump supplier can do this for you. I am including a link. .
