What should I look for concerning a possible backed up water sewer line?
I suspect the ejector pump has failed, or tree roots are blocking the line. Everytime someone takes a dump, it tends to smell near the ejector well, and the smell seems to seep up to the toilets. The smell passes after an hour or so, which leads me to think there is some flow, but it is backed up?

- THE TUB AND THE TOILET WILL BACK UP, POUR A GALLON OF BLEACH DOWN THE BATHROOM SINK, TOILET, AND TUB, (SPREAD IT OUT AMONGST THEM) AND THAT SHOULD HELP KEEP IT CLEAR AND MIGHT HELP WITH THE SMELL TOO.
- The water in the toilet will rise if blocked by tree roots, keep an eye on it until you get a plumber in because the water can slowly rise overnight and overflow by morning, turn the water off at night otherwise you might have a nice surprise awaiting in the morning.
