Can I drive a bobcat over a septic system?
I removed an above-ground pool, and I want to remove the sand/rocks and add in some loam. A bobcat would make this much easier, but it might involve driving over my septic system. Is this a really bad idea?

- it does sound kind of fucking dumb
- as long as it's dry and your not digging to far down you don't want to hit any pipes or disrupt your leach bed Good luck
- If the bobcat is light enough and the septic tank is sturdy enough, you might be able to get away with it, maybe. But consider the consequences of a less-than-ideal scenario. I wouldn't recommend it. The results aren't pretty.
- You shouldn't drive anything heavy over a drainfield. I don't know how much a bobcat weighs, but the chance of crushing the drainpipes in the field is real.
