I need to connect to my neighbors sewer system?
My neighbor has a sewer manhole on his property about 100 yards from my property. It is a straight line downhill so no flow issues. How would i go about connecting to the city system on his property. What do i need to know? How much might it cost? Thoughts

- You need to contact your city service department, normally the same phone number as city hall. They will provide you with permits required and a list of approved plumbers in your area.
- do it yourself. Have a bbq and invite the neighbour. get them very drunk then get everyone digging the sewer. I'm not being flippant my family did this on holiday once. I never went away with them again tho'
- Check into the easement situations. You may already have a right to hookup to that sewer line. Go down to city hall and pull the maps. They can help you with the permits there too.
