What would it cost to have a plumber run & hook up new sewer and water lines.?
Lines would need to be inspected by county, run is about 20 feet. Looking for a ballpark figure?

- Depends on local labor cost and the materials used. Since it needs to be inspected, the work must be done by a licensed plumber or contractor.
- it's really best to call around for estimates. my step father is a plumber and i have seen with talking to other companies that price is not scripted. i would also see if you can find reviews on the plumbers you call too. and not from the companies site, they can pick and choose those. i can't give you an honest figure because i don't know your companies... i mean i have seen price differences that double or triple the last price.
- Depends on if the plumber is union or non union, but with digging, inspection fee, material required, you can figure at least $200.00 per foot.
- I beleive around 100 a ft. Factors that can make it on the high side. Incude. What shrubs/ landscaping is in the way. Big trees that may be in the way. Or can cause digging problems (roots) Also whether or not it can be tied back on to the existing line as it enters the City Main. Or. If you have to have a new tap. But the best thing to do is get 3 estimates. Most provide them free. Do not tell them who the other estimates are from,or who you plan on calling. Also do not listen to their recommendations. Another words. Call so and so. He and myself do the most in this town. He may be in fact giving you the name of the most expensive company in town. He knows he will be cheaper.
