How to care for an aerobic sewer system?
I recently bought a house and it has an aerobic sewer system. I do not know anything about them. What regular maintence is required? When it goes off the water smells...what does this mean? And what do i do? Thank you!

- its called a septic system,you should of gotten a bill from previous owners when it was pumped out last. if it smells you should have the septic tank pumped out.
- You can find a company that will serve it for a yearly contract. Call your local sewer system repair or maintenance company that does this and learn from them and after a year, do it yourself if you like. Basically You sewer system is treated in a holding tank and is then irrigated into the yard with water sprinklers. You should not turn the timer on until the water is treated.
